The Sunscreen Symposium is calling for paper abstracts and poster submissions. 
 
The guidelines are outlined below:
 

Title of Paper

Author’s Name
University/ Institute
E Mail/ Contact Details

Abstract 

Summarizes the key points of participant’s talk or poster in 150 to 225 words.
 

Biography 

 
Send biography together with the abstract adhering to the following guidelines:
 
1. Full name (name used for symposium schedule, printing, certificate)
2. Position /department/organization/country
3. Contact information (contact/mobile number, email address)
4. Include Color Photo
5. Biography (word count should not exceed 125 words)
6. Category: (Podium (Oral) presentation/ Poster presentation)
7. List any prior speaking experience
 
All materials (title, abstract, bio and headshot) must be submitted by end of calendar day, eastern standard time, Friday, April 7, 2023, in order to be considered. 
 
Participants are asked to submit the abstract, biographical information and color photo/headshot to [email protected].

Topics of Interest

1. Efficacy – SPF/UVA test methods; available filters by region; materials or processes that improve efficacy; instrumentation or software that aids in predictability; misinformation surrounding sunscreen efficacy;
2. Safety – to people and the environment; addressing misinformation around sunscreen product safety and consumer trust; retailer “no” lists;
3. Formulating cosmetically acceptable / inclusive sunscreen products;
4. Registration / Regulatory requirements for marketing sunscreen products globally; and 
5. Sustainability efforts and advances
