Due to the events on September 11th, the Semi-Annual Sunscreen Symposium has been rescheduled for April 24-28 at the Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World, Orlando, FL. The event is organized by the Florida Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC).On Wednesday, April 24, optional sessions include “Critical parameters in formulating stable, high performance suncare products.” The highlights of Thursday include the optional “Accelerating product development via advanced in vitro SPF methods” and “Developing next generation suncare products: a unified model of sunscreen” presentations. Thursday night features registration and a cocktail party.On Friday, April 26, the symposium officially begins. Eight speakers will be featured. A Mardi Gras party is set for Friday night. Saturday will spotlight eight speakers and their presentations.
