Leveraging proprietary green chemistry and biotechnology products, Sweetch is a new company creating sustainable ingredients for the cosmetics and personal care industry. Company executives maintain Sweetch’s focus on sustainability and transparency from the molecular level which sets it apart from other raw material suppliers. Furthermore, its hybrid business model allows for scalable, cost-competitive, differentiating and disruptive solutions and concepts for brands around the world.
The new company is led by CEO Tony Jaillot.
“The desire from consumers to use beauty brands built on nature-derived ingredients is now unstoppable and is shaping the present and future of the industry,” noted Jaillot. “While there are many great renewable ingredients on the market, we believe there is a novel way to assemble them into differentiating concepts while bringing new technologies to life, from untapped food offerings to biotech or even other industries.”
Sweetch, backed by Ekkio Capital, unites Gobiotics, Creathes and CreaChem to deliver cutting-edge solutions. For example, Gobiotics is a microbiome expert, offering functional and active ingredients. Creathes features a portfolio of lipophilic and hydrophilic natural delivery systems and bespoke services. Finally, Creachem is a food technology transfer expert for the beauty industry.
Other Sweetch executives include:
