Myavana Debuts Beauty AI Textured Hair Strand Analysis Tool

Salon event showcases new technology for personalized haircare suggestions.

Indie company Myavana is at the intersection of beauty as it relates to textured hair, technology, science and cultural innovation.

At the Rezo Salon for Curls in New York City on July 26, the haircare experts debuted its first-ever beauty A.I. tool utilizing microscopic hair strand analysis and A.I. imaging technology to provide personalized hair care product regimens from a database of over 3,000 hair care brands. 
 
The founder Candace Mitchell-Harris is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, a WWD Top 50 Beauty Innovator and a recent Georgia Tech Computing Hall of Fame inductee.

The new Myavana HairAI 2.0 lab specializes in textured hair and the system is set to debut nationally at beauty retailers to be revealed soon.
