The Dial Corporation Introduces Dial Complete, Revolutionary Liquid Hand Soap

The Dial Corporation today unveiled the next generation of liquid hand soaps with the launch of Dial Complete, an antibacterial, foaming hand wash. “Dial Complete, which will be on store shelves nationwide beginning in March, raises the bar for other liquid hand soaps,” said Herbert M. Baum, Chairman, President and CEO of The Dial Corporation.

“The most important thing an antibacterial soap must do is kill germs, and Dial Complete kills 10 times more disease-causing germs than other liquid soaps,” Mr. Baum said. “In addition, Dial Complete is milder on your skin and rinses cleaner than other soaps.

“Dial Complete also comes with a revolutionary Activ-Foam(TM) System (manufactured by Airspray International) that produces foam directly from the pump to make thicker, richer lather instantly. The instant-lathering system is unique,” Mr. Baum said.

“This is the biggest advance in liquid hand soaps since Liquid Dial in 1988,” he said. “Dial Complete does everything consumers want in an antibacterial liquid soap, and it adds the convenience of the foaming pump that will draw even more consumers to the liquid soap market.”

According to Mr. Baum, the introduction of Dial Complete is only one of many recent new products from Dial that should make 2001 a good year for the company. Purex laundry detergent, the nation’s No. 2-selling brand, is introducing Purex Tabs laundry detergent and a 300-ounce, value-sized liquid detergent. Many of Dial’s laundry care products will carry the Queen of Clean’s Seal of Approval. The Queen, Phoenix author Linda Cobb, has two New York Times best-sellers, including her latest book, “Talking Dirty Laundry With The Queen of Clean.”

Renuzit, No. 2 in the air freshener market, also has three new products. They include OneTouch Scented Oil, Renuzit Design pillar candles and Renuzit Fresh Gels.

“This is going to be an exciting year for Dial,” Mr. Baum said. “Our strong core brands all are first or second in their markets, and with the introduction of innovative new products like Dial Complete, we’re anticipating a good year.”
