HCPA Reveals PBS News Anchor as Keynote Speaker for 2022 Conference

The hybrid mid-year meeting will be held May 11-13 at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Impact 2022—the Household and Commercial Products Association (HCPA)’s hybrid mid-year meeting—is the premier conference to learn about and engage on the public policy issues that impact the household and commercial products industry. The event will take place this year May 11-13 at The Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.
 
The event’s keynote speaker will be Geoff Bennett, PBS NewsHour chief Washington correspondent and weekend anchor. An acclaimed journalist, he has reported from the White House under three presidents, covered five presidential elections and his exclusive interviews with many of Washington, D.C.’s most influential figures.

Montgomery Recycling Center Tour 

 
As part of 2022’s mid-year meeting, HCPA is offering members the opportunity to visit the Montgomery Recycling Center. Located near Washington, D.C., attendees will tour the recycling center to learn about the benefits of recycling, understand the important function the facilities play in the community and get a first-hand look at how recyclables are processed. The tours will be broken up into two groups.
 

Sustainability & Product Stewardship Council

 
Third-party certifications enable industrial, commercial and consumer product users to verify the sustainability attributes of products quickly and easily. During this session, three leading certification organizations—Green Seal, EPA Safer Choice and UL—will discuss trends in market preference for more sustainable products and give technical updates on their current activities and potential program expansions. The presentations will be followed by roundtable discussions with the speakers in three breakout rooms.
 

How to Excel in a Remote Environment

 
COVID-19 has changed the way consumers work. Companies have gone either fully remote or adopted a hybrid work structure. Hosted by the Young Professionals Committee with Raj Singh, co-founder and CEO, Pulse Automatic Status, and Ilya Lipovich, co-founder and CEO, Cider Corporation, hear from experts about time management skills how to maximize productivity in this new work environment.
