The sad news that Ulta Beauty Chief Marketing Officer Shelley Haus died was the most-viewed news on Happi.com last month. Haus died after a battle with cancer. She was 49. Retail news was also the No. 2 most-viewed news item in June. Martin Brok stepped down as CEO of Sephora on June 30.

In third place was word of the merger between DSM and Firmenich. The move establishes “a leading creation and innovation partner in nutrition, beauty and well-being,” according to the companies.
