Tide Launches “World’s Largest Pajama Party”

P&G brand Tide sponsored the “world’s largest pajama party” at the Plaza Hotel in New York City todayto celebrate the launch of new Tide with a touch of Downy. More than 1000 women attended. Hostsleepwear designer Karen Neuburger officially kicked off “National Pajama Month,” with the month ofOctober dedicated to activities that will help support the fight against breast cancer.

Attendees included “The View” host Joy Behar, supermodel Emme, “Saturday Night Live” alum AnaGasteyere and “Six Feet Under” star Lili Taylor. More parties are scheduled throughout the U.S. thismonth, encouraging women to show their support in the fight against breast cancer through eventattendance. Tide will also make a $30,000 donation to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Cathleen J. Chizauskas Joins Gillette as Civic Affairs VPThe Gillette Company, Boston, appointed Cathleen J. Chizauskas as vice president, civic affairs,effective immediately. Ms. Chizauskas previously served as director, civic affairs. She succeedsRoyall M. Mack, who will retire following 28 years of service.

In her new position, Ms. Chizauskas is responsible for developing and implementing the company’sstrategy for a broad range of public and civic activities. She also directs the company’s philanthropicprograms and initiatives focused on three areas: economic education, prevention and wellness programsrelated to breast and prostate cancers and housing and emergency shelter.

In addition, Ms. Chizauskas represents Gillette to community and civic groups, as well as key businessorganizations. She also oversees the extensive Gillette United Way program and other well-establishedcommunity relations programs.
