Twincraft Soap Company has been re-purchased by brothers Peter and Richard Asch. Both were the previous owners of Twincraft before selling the company to the Langer Group (now PC Group) in January, 2007. A pruchase price was not disclosed.

“Twincraft Soap is an innovative and world-class private label soap manufacturer. We produce premium quality products for high profile brands. An opportunity presented itself and, from a business and personal perspective, my brother and I are thrilled to be in control of the company again,” said Pete Asch, CEO of Twincraft.

Twincraft was founded in Montreal, Canada in 1971 by twin brothers Robert and David Asch. Robert’s son Peter Asch joined the company in 1984 and his son Richard in 1994. The two brothers bought Twincraft from their father and uncle in 1995.

“It feels good to have Twincraft back in family hands,” said Pete Asch. “This is a professional business with a family feel. We also like manufacturing and believe after a generational cycle of leveraging in this country, the process of nation wide deleveraging will be healthy for manufacturing.”

The sale makes Twincraft a privately owned company again. Pete Asch will remain CEO, Richard Asch as vice president. Twincraft Soap currently employs approximately 180 people with facilities in Winooski and Essex, Vermont.
