Vermont Soap has signed on as a primary sponsor of the Vermont Organic Valley Jam, a music, jamming and camping festival scheduled for August 21-23 in Stockbridge, VT. At the event bands like Gang of Thieves, Crundlefunk, Haley Jane and the Primates, Holy Ghost, Tent Revival, Rick Redington and the Luv and many more, will perfirm live and festival goers are also encouraged to bring their own instruments where they can jam at the open mic stage and vie for prizes and a chance to play a special performance on the main stage. After experiencing severe skin problems from detergents used by his window washing company, Larry Plesent started Vermonet Soap in 1992. The firm has grown from two person operation in 1992 to the largest manufacturer of handmade organic bar soap in North America, selling products in more than 2,500 stores nationwide and factory direct to consumers world-wide. Vermont Soaps’ manufacturing operation was among the first in the US to be certified as a USDA organic processing facility specializing in topical products.
