Analysts observe growing interest in Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth Perfume, as searches for “Sweet Tooth Caramel Dream Perfume” and “Caramel Dream Perfume” continue to rise.

Caramel and matcha are no longer just preferred Frappuccino flavors at Starbucks. Beauty enthusiasts want them in their perfume bottles.

According to beauty trend tracker Spate’s new popularity index, these are the fastest-growing edible fragrances.

Sweet Dreams

Analysts say caramel perfume has seen a +244.9% growth compared to last year, with TikTok leading the way — holding 79.9% of the trend’s Popularity Share. On Google Search, interest in caramel perfume has grown +181.1%, while TikTok engagement has increased +265.7% — both compared to last year.

While some consumers prefer pure caramel scents, others are drawn to how it pairs with other gourmand notes like vanilla caramel, pistachio caramel and salted caramel — fragrance blends that sound like an artisanal ice cream lineup. On TikTok, #smelllikecaramel signals a desire to embody the scent of caramel itself, rather than a sole interest in the note as part of a perfume. Analysts also observe growing interest in Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth Perfume, as searches for “Sweet Tooth Caramel Dream Perfume” and “Caramel Dream Perfume” continue to rise. While celebrities have shifted away from traditional fragrance deals in favor of launching their own makeup or skincare lines, this trend proves that celebrity influence in fragrance remains strong.

Tea-Inspired Fragrances

Interest in matcha perfume has surged +241.1% compared to last year, with Google Search holding 88.8% of the trend’s Popularity Share and growing +202.7% year over year, analysts say. While in its early stages on TikTok, related hashtags like #matchalover (6.2K average weekly views) and #matchatok (4.8K average weekly views) reflect a crossover between the beverage and the scent.

But this trend isn’t just about matcha. On TikTok, the hashtag #teaperfume (7.4K average weekly views) signals a broader interest in tea-inspired fragrances, opening the door for scents featuring white tea, chai and green tea blends.

With growing demand, fragrance brands have a unique opportunity to explore tea-based scents or collaborate with popular tea brands to create something unique for fans. The market is brewing with innovation.
