Wild Rose Mineral Foundation New at Korres

Talc-free formulation offers buildable coverage.

Korres, the Greek skin care brand with roots in in Athens’ first ever homeopathic pharmacy, is rolling out a mineral foundation with SPF 30 infused with wild rose oil.

Why wild rose? According to the company, this oil, rich in linoleic and linolenic acid, has significant healing, moisturizing and softening properties. At the same time, it forms a protective film on the skin that helps cell regeneration and improves the texture of the epidermis.

This talc-free, weightless, 100% natural foundation also features broad spectrum SPF30 for invisible coverage and sun protection, according to the company. It is said to delivers brightening, buildable, natural coverage. It is available in four shades.

Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Co. signed a licensing agreement with the prestige beauty brand in 2009; the deal went into effect this past January. The deal gave J&J full control of Korres branded beauty products in North America, according to reports.
