Fans know the famous line “Put some Windex on it!,” from from the suprise hit movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”—and now Academy Award nominated screenwriter and actress Nia Vardalos has brought America’s favorite Greek family back to big screen in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2,” and expect there to be plenty of cameos for the SC Johnson window cleaner beloved by character Gus Portokalos.
 
“When I was writing both scripts for My Big Fat Greek Wedding, I based the father character on my own dad, who truly believes in the power of Windex products, and that even the word itself is Greek,” said Vardalos.
 
SC Johnson rolled out a “Windex blue carpet” on March 15 for the New York City premier of the movie, which stars Vardalos and John Corbett.
