Workshop on FIFRA 6(a)(2) Adverse Effects Reporting to be Held June 19

The Consumer Specialty Products Association and The Chemical Producers and Distributors Association will sponsor a workshop on FIFRA 6(a)(2) Adverse Effects Reporting on June 19 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Crystal City, VA. The International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) will be co-sponsoring the event.

The workshop is intended to provide an overview of FIFRA 6(a)(2) pesticide adverse effects reporting requirements. Speakers include Kate Bouve from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) who will explain 6(a)(2) Adverse Effects Reporting Requirements, how EPA uses the data, and common reporting mistakes. Rick Kingston from PROSAR/International Poison Center and Loma Kreusi from Rocky Mountain Poison Center poison will be on hand to discuss their experience with reporting. The use of voluntary 6(a)(2) forms will also be reviewed. McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP will also be speaking on State Requirements.
