Yankee Candle Appoints Meyrowitz to Board

The Yankee Candle Company, South Deerfield, MA, appointed Carol Meyrowitz to the company’sboard of directors. Ms. Meyrowitz is senior executive vice president of The TJX Companies. She isalso president of The Marmaxx Group, a division of TJX.

Ms. Meyrowitz was also named to the board’s compensation committee as well. Currently, YankeeCandle’s board of directors includes 11 members, nine of whom are independent directors.
