Cosway Beauty Brands, a beauty manufacturer which recently acquired ColorProof, has announced the appointment of Rick Kornbluth as president and chief executive officer of the company, along with Maureen Saenz as vice president of marketing at ColorProof.
These strategic appointments come as the beauty manufacturer continues to expand and plans for further strong growth. They will play a key role in supporting the company’s expanding portfolio.
“This is an exciting time for Cosway Beauty Brands where we see brand strength and momentum throughout our product offerings and great opportunity for future growth” stated Rick Hough, chairman of the Board at Cosway Beauty Brands. “I am delighted Rick Kornbluth will join our team. His expertise in growing consumer personal care businesses and multi-industry experience combined with his strong relationship with the brands, make him ideally suited to accelerate our consumer base.”

Kornbluth will oversee the brand portfolio that includes Neuma, Number 4 and ColorProof. Known for his relationship and leadership skills, he recently served as CEO of Kevin Murphy an international manufacturer of professional hair care and hair coloring products. Previously Kornbluth was president/CEO of Wella Corporation a division of Procter and Gamble. Wella Corporation retained Kornbluth after he led the sale of Graham Webb to them in 2001.

Maureen Saenz joins from Kevin Murphy, where she was most recently the vice president of global marketing. With a keen understanding of the importance of the consumer experience, she has spent her career building successful teams by cultivating a collaborative culture. Having spent her career in professional hair care, she also worked at Pureology, Joico, Sebastian International as well as serving as a marketing consultant to several leading beauty brands.
As vice president of marketing at ColorProof, she will be responsible for providing the vision, direction and implementation of strategies focused on brand growth.
