Introducing Nail Wig Stroke Effects

Those looking for a gel polish experience from the comfort of home can now rely on Nail Wig Stroke Effects. These bottled, decorative “effects” come in five varieties of glitters, pigments and powders for a combined 36-shade, multi-range of sparkle and shimmer that change the look of base colored manicured nails, instantly. 
 
Once polish is applied, the selected Effect is sprinkled, tapped or smoothed onto the nail bed and cured with a top coat and UV/LED lamp. Nails are instantly transformed into a salon-worthy look and can be applied to your natural nail or extensions. 
 
Why It Was Founded
 
“I founded Nail Wig Stroke Effects because of my love for nail embellishments and color. As a teenager, I would always go to the drug stores to see what new polish colors were available and would mix together to create new shades,” explained Charnin Brown-Hayward, founder of Nail Wig Stroke Effects.  
 
The idea of Nail Wig Stroke Effects came about during the height of the 2020 pandemic. Charnin was currently operating Nail Wig Toppings Bar in Newburgh, NY, a nail bar offering clients the opportunity to create their own looks or “effects.” Clients could mix and match colors, textures and styles for one-of-a-kind nail looks.  As with all personal care businesses throughout New York State, Nail Wig Toppings Bar was mandated to close its doors leaving its clients to resort to at-home manicures, sparking the idea to bring this unique nail experience directly to the consumer.
 
“Isolation and stillness due to the pandemic allowed me to creatively focus on transitioning the concept for Nail Wig Toppings Bar into a product line,” said Charnin. “With at-home nail products on the rise, I felt a need to bridge the gap between nail salons and over the counter bought nail color.”  From there, Nail Wig Stroke Effects was born.

• Halo Effects – Saturated fine and larger particle sized holographic glitters that give a mesmerizing effect.
• Foil Effects – Foil paper that presses to perfection and creates dimension.
• Glo Effects – Neon, black light activated properties to illuminate and glow.
• Chrome Effects – Micro-fined metallic pigments that create a mirrored finish.
• Glitter Effects – Multi-sized glitter to add a sparkling texture.
