Everyday impurities can stress acne-prone skin. Indie beauty brand Hero Cosmetics is targeting complicated complexions with Force Shield, a new skin care line that balances the microbiome. The company previewed products to beauty editors in an online event held on June 9 with both Ju Rhyu, co-founder and CEO of Hero Cosmetics and Dr. Caroline Robinson, consulting dermatologist. the brand’s first ambassador dermatologist.
The Force Shield skin care collection is made up of three products: a Serum, Mist and Acne SPF, as well as hearing from, Dr. Caroline Robinson. All balance the microbiome, according to the company. Clinically tested and non-irritating, the products also feature no drying alcohols or artificial colors.
Products will be sold online at https://www.herocosmetics.us/ and launch at Target.com in July; the SPF will be in 1,800 Target doors in July also, according to the company.
