The limited-edition line features a glow balm, lipsticks, glosses, lip pencils and a collector’s set.

While America is celebrating its 250th birthday, actress Marilyn Monroe is also being commended for what would have been her 100th birthday.
Makeup artist Lisa Eldridge recently rolled out the Marilyn Monroe x Lisa Eldridge 100th Birthday Collection, a limited-edition line created in collaboration with the Marilyn Monroe Estate. She also opened a NYC pop-up store showcasing the products in a vintage setting.
The cosmetics collection pays homage to Monroe’s beauty legacy through modern formulations inspired by archival research, vintage shade analysis and Eldridge’s own history as a collector of historical beauty artifacts.
“My aim when creating this collection was to honor Marilyn’s creative artistry with authenticity and respect. Taking my inspiration predominantly from the off-duty, East Coast Marilyn of the mid-1950s and the special relationship she had with her long term and trusted makeup artist Allan ‘Whitey’ Snyder—a relationship I recognize from my own experiences with my long-term clients,” Eldridge told Happi.
“My first challenge was to attempt to bottle what many have described as her ability to light up a room with her natural luminosity.”
Eldridge’s industry expertise has acquired numerous creative directorships, ambassadorial and product development roles at leading brands including Chanel, Shiseido and Lancôme, where she currently is a global creative director, as reported in Happi.
The Marilyn Monroe x Lisa Eldridge 100th Birthday collection introduces an Elevated Glow Balm Concentrate, a range of lipsticks, glosses and pencils and a deluxe collector’s set.
“My new Elevated Glow Balm Concentrate imparts the skin with an otherworldly luminance,” she said.
Inspired by the classic Hollywood “butterfly lighting” technique, this light champagne, pearlescent shade mimics the way soft, frontal light gently lifts and perfects the skin, according to Eldridge.
Organic phyto-retinol—an oil extracted from sea fennel—is a key component in the glow balm. This retinoid-like plant improves texture by soothing and smoothing the skin. Brown algae extract, clinically proven to improve short term hydration and improve long term hydration, rounds out the formula.
Other Marilyn Monroe products include lip gloss and lipstick, amongst others.
“When it came to the lip colors, I analyzed the makeup shades in my vintage makeup collection we know she wore and loved, working with eminent pigment historians, as well as dissecting every interview and magazine article… I went the extra mile to make sure I accurately captured this colorful moment in time. The result is a collection that you can make your own. One with fresh eyes and modern formulas, that is instinctively Marilyn. Her colors, her taste, her joie de vivre.”
As for the packaging, Eldridge noted: “Having spent my life collecting vintage makeup treasures that hold such personal meaning for me, I wanted this very limited and exclusive Deluxe Makeup Collection to feel like a true collector’s piece, bringing together every part of the edit inside a luxurious box featuring my favorite Sam Shaw photographs of Marilyn.”
Eldridge also opened a “Beauty in Residence” popup in New York. The limited-time beauty destination runs through November 2026, marking a milestone for the makeup artist, bringing her artist-first philosophy into a fully physical environment for the first time in the United States.
The “experience” at 119 Spring Street in Soho centers on “education and personalization, including detailed shade matching and access to limited-edition product moments unavailable elsewhere,” said Eldridge.
“From the early days of my makeup artistry career working in New York photographic studios, the city has always inspired me, so opening my first ever pop-up here feels incredibly exciting and deeply personal. I can’t wait for even more of you to discover my products in person and experience my take on beauty first-hand,” she added.
