Evonik promoted Christian Edlinger to business line director

Evonik: promoted Christian Edlinger to business line director, interface and performance, in the consumer specialties unit of Evonik Corporation. He is responsible for developing and implementing business strategy for the Americas region, and is a member of the global management team for the interface and performance business line.

Edlinger has held several posts at Evonik. Since 2010 he has served as head of controlling for the global personal care business line based in Essen, Germany, where he focused on strategic growth in Asia and South America and acquisition and divestment projects. His career at Evonik began in 2003 as an operational controller for the performance materials division.
