Recognizing the widespread issue of acne, acne care brand Differin is implementing a new approach to how beauty brands connect with Gen Z and Gen Alpha by launching its first gaming campaign in collaboration with Twitch.

The “Level Up” campaign aims to provide skincare education to the gaming community, helping to ensure that acne is no longer a challenge.

With 3.4 billion gamers worldwide, Differin is raising awareness among young gamers through an engaging and immersive marketing strategy, spotlighting its bestselling over-the-counter acne treatment, the Differin Adapalene Gel 0.1%.

360-Degree Campaign

Key components of the 360° campaign include:

Homepage takeovers, premium video spots during live streams, and targeted stream display ads ensure maximum visibility and engagement; and collaborations with Twitch streamers who have a strong, positive influence within the Gen Z community to authentically discuss their clear skin journey.

Bridging the gap between IRL and URL, the Differin Arcade at TwitchCon, from Sept. 19-22 in San Diego, CA will connect attendees and Twitch viewers through interactive events.

Twitch streamers and their viewers will engage in edutainment with Battle Royale challenges where viewers can learn about Differin Gel. Viewers who tune into Differin-sponsored streams can earn exclusive in-game items.
