Luxury fashion platform SYKY has introduced the latest launch in its SYKY Drops series with visionary Amsterdam-based 3D nail artist Sammy Does, out now.

SYKY Drops is a monthly debut of limited capsules created by boundary-pushing designers, handpicked by SYKY Artistic Director Nicola Formichetti. Marking SYKY’s first foray into nail design, Does’ collection, “Angelic Armor,” comprises a two-piece, limited-edition release of her signature 3D-printed nail prosthetics as a full set and a nail ring that wearers can rock in both the physical and digital realms.

The Angelic Armor collection features sculptural, jewelry-like nail wear that embodies Does’ distinct mix of science fiction and fantasy aesthetics with the collection drawing inspiration from the gaming worlds of Yu-Gi-Oh!, League of Legends and Streetfighter. The exclusive collaboration with SYKY includes two physical-digital products – a 3D-printed nail ring and a nail set – both accompanied by a digital NFT that enhances the storytelling elements and video game influences that inspire Does’ work.

Angel 01 ($150) – The glass-like nail ring, sold individually, with a transparent nude base extends into chrome-coated angel wings that showcase Does’ signature chrome airbrushing technique that resembles real metal. The shining metallic finish transforms the wearer’s hand into something otherworldly. Crafted from PLA and acrylic paints and finished by hand, this unique ring comes with a 3D-printed acrylic ring case and a digital product.

Angel 02 ($450) – This 10-piece set of elongated chrome “sword” nails are inspired by the designer’s favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! card archetypes and gaming characters. 3D-printed with PLA and finished by hand using Sammy Does’ signature chrome airbrushing technique that resembles real metal, the nails have a sleek, double-folded design that blends physical form and digital fantasy. The set comes with both nail glue and adhesive strips for easy, reusable wear, a digital product and a 3D-printed acrylic ring case.
