Cosmetic Executive Women To Host Achiever Awards

35th annual luncheon to take place Oct. 1 in New York City.

The beauty industry will honor five of the industry’s most accomplished and high-achieving women on Oct. 1 at its 35th annual Achiever Awards luncheon at the Waldorf-Astoria.

The CEW Achiever Awards recognize the professional successes of prominent women in the fields of beauty, fragrance and related industries. The 2010 CEW Achievers are nothing short of extraordinary:
  • Alex Keith, Vice President, P&G
  • Janet Pardo, Senior Vice President, Global Product Development, Clinique
  • Claudia Poccia, Global President, mark., Avon Products, Inc.
  • Lisa Price, Founder, Carol’s Daughter
  • Lori Singer, Group Vice President, Global Marketing, Coty Prestige
In addition to honoring five, top women leaders, CEW will give its first ever Corporate Empowerment for Women (C.E.W.) Award to Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. for demonstrating a commitment to establishing and leveraging female talent.

“Recognizing the achievement of these powerful, women leaders is what makes the Achiever Awards unique. This event supports the advancement of women in the industry,” says CEW President Carlotta Jacobson. “This year, we are delighted to also recognize Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. for actively helping women advance and achieve,” remarks Jacobson.
