Vicki Barboiu succeeds Stephen Wood.

DSM-Firmenich has named Vicki Barboiu as its new head of Personal Care NA. The appointment is effective today. Barboiu has demonstrated “exceptional leadership and expertise” throughout her tenure at DSM-Firmenich, according to the company. Joining in 2015 as regional commercial manager for personal care, North. America, she later advanced to the role of sales manager before transitioning to the human nutrition business in March 2019 where she held various positions, her latest as regional COO. Barboiu holds an MBA from Penn State University. Prior to joining DSM-Firmenich, she worked at Symrise for various sales roles in the personal care industry. “I am thrilled to join the Personal Care NA team, and I look forward to contributing to its ongoing success. Together we will navigate new challenges, seize opportunities, and foster business growth with our partners. Through collaboration with our fragrance colleagues, we aim to deliver integrated solutions that meet the diverse needs of our customers,” said Barboiu. In her new role, Barboiu succeeds Stephen Wood who has departed Dsm-Firmenich for an external career opportunity.
