Pride Industries, Roseville, CA, has been named a 2015 Safer Choice Partner of the Year award winner for its outstanding achievement in the development, distribution and promotion of its PrideClean products. The company is among 21 Safer Choice Partner of the Year award winners selected by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for 2015; the winners will be honored during a public ceremony on June 22 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. The other formulators/product manufacturers to win the award are: Case Medical, Inc.; Earth Friendly Products; Jelmar; Ospray Biotechnics; The Sun Products Corp.; and Wexford Labs, Inc. To qualify for the Safer Choice label, a product must meet EPA’s Safer Choice Standard, which includes stringent human and environmental health criteria. The Safer Choice Program (formerly Design for the Environment) currently has nearly 500 formulator-manufacturer partners who make more than 2,000 products for both retail and institutional customers.
