Mecca, Australia’s biggest prestige beauty retailer, is making its debut into Europe and the western market with the launch of its bestseller, To Save Face SPF50+ Superscreen, a multitasking SPF cream from its in-house label, Mecca Cosmetica, founded by Jo Horgan in 1997.

The sunscreen will launch on Monday, June 19 in the UK and be sold D2C on Mecca’s new UK site, according to reports.

Related SPF products, inclusive of serum and body care, will roll out in the next year. One of the benefits of To Save Face SPF50+ Superscreen is offering added protection where other active skin care products may be making their skin more sensitive to the sun’s harmful rays.

Designed with cosmetics wearers in mind, the sunscreen is virtually weightless and won’t leave a white cast after application. Key actives include maritime pine bark extract, which protects from UV rays, Vitamin E, Sodium PCA and Vitamin E to nourish and hydrate the skin.
