Aveeno, Neutrogena and Listerine Fuel Business at J&J

Johnson & Johnson posted a 9.1% increase in sales to $19.5 billion for the second quarter of 2014. Positive contributors to operational results were sales of Neutrogena and Aveeno skin care products; baby care products; and international sales of Listerine mouthwash and feminine protection products, according to the company.

Skin care sales rose 6.6% to $968 million, while baby care increased 3.6% to $607 million and oral care inched up 1.7% to $413 million.

Worldwide consumer sales rose 2.4% to $3.7 billion in the second quarter.
