Blyth, Inc. Forms the Office of the Chairman

Blyth, Inc., Greenwich, CT announced the newly established Office of the Chairman consists of the following: Frank Mineo, senior vice president of Blyth and president of the direct selling group; Bruce Crain, senior vice president of Blyth and president of the wholesale group; Robert B. Goergen, Jr., vice president of Blyth and president of the catalog and internet group and Robert H. Barghaus, vice president of Blyth and chief financial officer.

“Leading Blyth successfully in the 21st century will continue to be an evolving process of re-examining our marketplace and re-positioning our business groups to drive sustainable growth said Mr. Goergen, also Blyth’s chairman of the board and chief executive officer. “Further, effective immediately, I plan to relinquish the title of president of Blyth, Inc., allowing this leadership team to assume more fully responsibility and accountability for Blyth’s day-to-day operations and to drive the sales and profits of Blyth, allowing me to focus on corporate strategy, management development and financial stewardship.”

The company also appointed Jane Casey, one of Blyth’s vice presidents, to lead organization and management development efforts.
