Cargill Expands Sustainable Portfolio with Cocoa Butter

In response to growing demand for ethically sourced and eco-friendly beauty products, Cargill Beauty is adding Sustainable Cocoa Butter to its growing portfolio of nature-derived ingredients. 
 
Certified by the Rainforest Alliance, Cargill’s Sustainable Cocoa Butter is sourced exclusively from Ghana, Cameroon and Côte d’Ivoire using Cargill’s direct network of known farmers and farmer organizations through the Cargill Cocoa Promise.
 
The Cargill Cocoa Promise represents Cargill’s commitment to securing a sustainable supply of cocoa now and in the future, whilst supporting farmers, their communities and the environment. By sourcing from this network, Cargill provides greater supply chain transparency to its customers.
 
Beyond its ethical and environmental credentials, Cargill’s Sustainable Cocoa Butter has plenty to offer personal care formulations. Biodegradable and 100% natural, this white, deodorized cocoa butter brings comfort to dry skin and offers a unique sensory experience compared to other emollient sources. This is due to cocoa butter’s distinct crystal structure, which results in a fast melt that leaves skin smooth and silky.
