Colgate-Palmolive Company elected John P. Bilbrey to board of directors

Colgate-Palmolive Company: elected John P. Bilbrey, president and chief executive officer of The Hershey Company, to the board of directors. Prior to joining Hershey in 2003, Bilbrey served as executive vice president, sales at Mission Foods and as president and chief executive officer at Danone Waters of North America. He also served in positions of increasing responsibility in the US and internationally during his 22 years at The Procter & Gamble Company.

Separately, the board of directors has accepted the resignation of Joseph Jimenez, chief executive officer of Novartis, who had served since 2010.
