Dan Moriarty of Revlon Dies at 68

Former Revlon executive Daniel John Moriarty died on Saturday, due to complications from leukemia. He was 68.

Moriarty spent 14 years at Revlon Inc. as the company’s senior vice president of public relations, and also served as a vice president at Max Factor & Co. In addition, he held executive positions at the Aramis division of the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. and Christian Dior Parfums. Most recently, he was director of development for AIDS Project Los Angeles.

Before entering the beauty industry, Moriarty was an entertainment publicist and represented The Lovin’ Spoonful, Richie Havens and Buffy Sainte-Marie.
