RUSSIA: Ecolab was the official hygiene supplier for the 2013 Universiade Games, which were held July 6-17 in Kazan, Russia. The Universiade is the only summer multi-sport event in the world where students from around the globe compete athletically and academically. It is staged every two years in a different city. More than 100,000 student athletes, spectators and volunteers from more than 170 countries were scheduled to visit Kazan for the event at which Ecolab provided the food safety, cleaning and sanitation products and equipment as well as training and on-site service to local partners.
