Estee Lauder Companies Buys Moure & Compaoia’s Interest in Cela Cosmeticos, S.A.

Estee Lauder International, a division of The Estee Lauder Companies Inc., has purchased the remaining interest in Cela Cosmeticos S.A., the distributor of several brands of the Estee Lauder Companies in Chile, Peru and Bolivia.

From July 2000 until the purchase, Cela Cosmeticos S.A., based in Santiago, Chile, was jointly owned by Estee Lauder International, Inc., the majority shareholder, and Moure & Compania S.A.

Cela Cosmeticos S.A. concentrates on building distribution of the company’s products in the Chilean, Peruvian and Bolivian markets. It distributes the Estee Lauder, Clinique and Aramis brands as well as the Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan and DKNY fragrances.
