Estée Lauder Exec Kimberly Villatoro Is New CEO at Patrick Ta Beauty

Has led marketing at Smashbox and Glamgow.

Patrick Ta Beauty has appointed Kimberly Villatoro as chief executive officer.

Villatoro has led and marketed some of the most recognized brands in the world, including the billion-dollar Barbie doll brand. Most recently, Villatoro served as VP and GM of Smashbox & Glamglow in North America (part of The Estée Lauder Cos.), where she led the brand's strategy and operations.

Avo Minasyan, who previously served as chief executive of the brand and helped Ta launch the brand, will move into the role of chairman of the board.

A proven leader, bringing purpose, strategy and scale to the businesses she has led across her two decade long professional career, Villatoro brings her vocal advocacy and passion for diversity, equity and inclusion to her new post, according to Patrick Ta Beauty.

Patrick Ta Beauty was founded in 2019. Ta worked with Minasyan. In October 2022, Stride Consumer Partners, a growth-equity investment firm focused on passion brands in consumer products and services, announced a minority investment in Patrick Ta Beauty.

Villatoro is the latest beauty executive to move over to the brand. In November 2022, former L'Oreal executive Paul Parikh joined the brand as COO.
