Goop Rolls Out New Retinol Regenerative Serum

Retinol’s potent effect on skin can produce transformative results when it comes to rejuvenating and reversing aging or problematic skin. But it often comes with a price in the form of irritation, flaking, redness and heightened sensitivity.

To ensure consumers get the benefit of the vitamin A derivative without suffering the harsh effects later on, Goop Beauty has released its latest innovation, Retinol Regenerative Serum.

Three Retinoids

The “clean” retinol serum touts delivery of instant and prolonged results without the irritating side effects that users typically experience. The brand says it achieved this by combining three retinoids with a complex that soothes and supports the skin’s barrier without interfering with the retinol’s efficacy.

A biomimetic plant peptide helps support cell repair and regeneration, while ceramides, beetroot extract and adzuki bean extract moisturize skin. Since retinol is most effective when used regularly, Goop says its combination of active ingredients delivers maximum results with minimal irritation.

The formula generated “remarkable” results on skin in clinical studies over time, and is gentle enough to use nightly, according to Goop. In four weeks, 100% of study participants showed improvement in the look of deep wrinkles; the look of facial pores; and hydration.
