International Cosmetics Centre A/S (ICSC) has been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal for its focus on sustainability performance.
ICSC is reportedly in the top 8% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the manufacturing of vegetable and animal oils and fats industry; it has an individual score of 70 points in the environmental category.
“This silver medal is a tremendous accomplishment for our company and demonstrate our sustainability practices,” said Philip G. Shukla, president, International Cosmetics Centre A/S. “Our company invests to promote diversity, water and energy savings and has implemented a zero-waste policy. Entire electricity supplied to our facilities is 100% certified green energy. ICSC’s precision climate farming already runs entirely on renewable energy from solar panels installed on rooftops.”
