Lush Rolls Out Vegan Magnesium Personal Care Collection

The latest creation at Happi Top 30 brand Lush is it's new Magnesium Range. According to the company, magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body, responsible for over 300 different functions. Plus, it’s anti-inflammatory.
 
The new bath and body collection is vegan, self-preserving and features “naked” formulas that require no packaging.
 

Magnesium Massage Bars

The new magnesium massage bars contain magnesium oil. Named an “oil”because of its oily texture, it’s actually magnesium chloride dissolved in water, said the company. This water content allows Lush to add other ingredients to create infusions.

Each magnesium massage bar contains a 122mg per 5g of product and is made from Fair Trade and organic cocoa butter harvested in Sierra Leone using an agroforestry model to prevent deforestation; Fair Trade shea butter from a network of over 50,000 women across various cooperatives in Northern Ghana; and essential oils derived from flowers, trees, herbs, spices, shrubs, shoots and other greenery.
 

Epsom Salt Cubes

In the new salt cubes, epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) are the main ingredient. The magnesium-rich salt is thought to create a buoyant water with a satisfying skin-feel, said the company.
