Monat Expands Into Color Cosmetics with BB Cream Makeup

Beauty brand Monat is stepping into the color cosmetics sector with a new BB Cream SPF 40 debuting this month.

According to the global company, the clinically tested, dermatologist-approved BB cream features a “next-level, naturally based formulation that delivers nourishment, sun protection and buildable coverage all in one.”

BB creams are more relevant now than ever due to their multi-purpose format that provides a variety of benefits. In fact, according to consumer trend market research firm Spate,  there are on average 162.2K searches every month in the U.S. on BB cream and has grown +9.3% in searches since last year, as reported in Happi.
 
According to the company, this multi-purpose tinted moisturizer instantly hydrates the skin and blurs imperfections for up to 12 hours. The BB creams are formulated with Monat’s proprietary ingredients, zinc oxide and Rejuveniqe S to offer protection against UVA and UVB rays without a white cast. Plus, there is a special, hydrating blend of grapeseed oil and rice bran extract in every bottle.

Monat IR Clinical Hair Care

New from Monat this month is Monat IR Clinical, a three-part regimen clinically proven to reduce hair fall, according to the company. The innovative collection introduces bakuchiol for anti-inflammatory benefits, caffeine for UV protection and melatonin known to reduce hair thinning DHT. The line is for all hair types and textures.
 
At the core of the collection is a lightweight, non-greasy serum that immediately reduces breakage and has shown noticeable results of thicker, fuller-looking hair in 60 days, said the company. Clinical study results conducted on the serum revealed 92% less hair fall, and 8 out of 10 consumers felt the product helped improve hair growth.
 
The line also includes a thickening shampoo and conditioner.
