Perfumehead, a luxury collection of seven extraits de parfum, debuts on Violet Grey today. Each one is priced at $425. The entrepreneur behind the launch is Brian Giles, who worked at Too Faced and Benefit Cosmetics prior to launching his own brand.

Rather than enter the color cosmetics space, Giles has his sights set on the fast-growing prestige fragrance business. Sales in the category soared during and post covid 19. And the pandemic influenced Giles decision to create fine fragrance, too. That's because the virus took his sense of smell; a loss that lasted three months.

Perfumehead was inspired by Giles’ home city of Los Angeles. The collection includes Hollywood Perfume, with notes of turkish rose, patchouli and amber, and Somewhere, with notes of palm leaves, lemon blossom and palo santo.
