Tarte Hits the Streets For 25th Anniversary With ‘Kindness Tour’

After 25 years of viral moments, TikTok-trending launches and internet-breaking trips around the globe, Tarte is going on tour.

 

The 25-city, cross-country “Tarte Kindness Tour” will be a year-long program focused on giving back to the brand’s four community pillars. With charitable giveback ingrained into the brand’s DNA since its start in 1999, the tour will include surprise moments for select retail partners and specially-selected local schools.

 

The tour’s first two stops will be in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday, Jan. 24 and Dallas, TX on Jan. 25. Founder Maureen Kelly and the Tarte team will be crowdsourcing the rest of the year’s stops, asking tarte’s dedicated social community where the tour should go next. 

The Tarte trolley will visit 25 major cities with meet and greets, exclusive Tarte swag, product hauls, giveaways and the chance to meet Kelly. Activities include a retail store drop-in to show appreciation for retail partners at a local Sephora or Ulta for top-tier customer treatment; a consumer pop-up to share a surprise location for shoppers or “Tartelettes” to receive Tarte swag, products, giveaways and meet Kelly, as well as the shape tape mascot. Consumers will receive a Tarte tour tote bag filled with Tarte products, a Kindness Tour sweatshirt, free shape tape voucher, and more. 

 

The tour will also include a celebration with a creator and media event that will focus on a different best-selling Tarte product each month. At each city, the trolley will stop by a specially-selected school to spoil and surprise the deserving teachers and students with backpacks and bins filled of school supplies and Tarte products, merch, clearing Amazon lists and more.
