Tom’s of Maine Adds New Baby SKUs

Tom's of Maine is expanding its family of products with a new natural baby care portfolio formulated without parabens, phthalates, phenoxyenthanol and artificial ingredients.

The new line includes Baby Shampoo & Wash and Baby Moisturizing Lotion. The pediatrician-tested, hypoallergenic formulas are gentle and use only “purposeful ingredients” derived solely from plants and minerals, according to the brand, which said it invested nearly three years to develop a “safe and effective line without the use of conventional preservatives.”

“We all want to know what's inside the products we use because our kids are trusting us to make good choices for them,” said Liz Eddy, brand manager at Tom's of Maine and mom to a toddler.  “We talked to a lot of parents in developing this line and heard they want natural, effective products with just what is necessary. So, in some cases, our products have half the number of ingredients found in other natural brands.”

The Tom's of Maine baby bath and skin care products are now available at online retailers including Amazon.com and Walmart. com for a suggested retail price of $9.99 for the shampoo and wash (10 oz) and  $10.99 for the lotion (6 oz). Product packaging is recyclable through the Tom's of Maine TerraCycle collection program.
