Unilever is buying into Eric Ryan's vision…again. The world's largest consumer goods company is acquiring Welly, a premium bandage company, started by Ryan, who also created Method home care (now owned by SC Johnson) and Olly vitamins, which Unilever acquired less than two years ago.

Welly is a line of fabric bandages and ointments in colorful tins. Ryan, truly a serial entrepreneur says he doesn't think about products when he decides to start a business—he looks at categories that are ripe for disruption. Obviously, whatever he's seeing, it's working!
