Unilever is acquiring Onnit, a holistic wellness and lifestyle company based in Austin, TX. Terms of the accord were not disclosed.
Onnit, which was founded in 2010 by Aubrey Marcus, touts supplements designed to provide improved cognitive function, mood and relaxation, gut health and immunity support. The company's hero product is Alpha Brain, a nootropic for better memory, focus, and mental processing.
Onnit also offers functional nutrition, fitness essentials, and a digital content platform that provides informative and motivational articles, interviews, advice, and fitness programs for its loyal and passionate consumer base.
