Fast-growing brand Touchland has relaunched its Power Mist Moisturizing Hand Sanitizers. The revamped collection features updated versions of its eight original scents and five new scents: Blue Sandalwood, Velvet Peach, Applelicious, Lemon Lime Spritz and Rainwater.
The Power Mist’s upgraded pulverizer spray system ensures that the fast evaporating sanitizer formula is evenly distributed across hands to kill 99,9% of harmful, illness-causing germs, according to the company.
The hand sanitizer sector was white hot during the pandemic, and Touchland, which launched in 2018, has been one of the fast-growing players in the space.
“We are thrilled to see Touchland evolve and become a more dominant player in the beauty space, leveraging our distinctive Power Mist to carry the brand into a new era of rebelliousness for touch lovers like us,” says Touchland CEO and founder, Andrea Lisbona, who was a featured speaker in this Happi webinar on hand sanitizers. “As we are all learning how to navigate a post-COVID world, our relaunch comes at a time when the desire to touch is higher than ever. We want to empower people to have a good time, without being reckless.”
Touchland developed the new scents and reworked the existing fragrances of the Power Mist collection in partnership with Givaudan. The updated fragrances from Touchland’s original Power Mist collection include Wild Watermelon, Pure Lavender, Frosted Mint, Spiced Vanilla, Aloe You, Citrus Grove, Berry Bliss and its unscented option.
The brand is also unveiling its first campaign in conjunction with the launch, which is set to run via social media channels including Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, as well as through paid ads on Facebook, Google, YouTube and OOH platforms like wheat pasting. Said to be inspired by nostalgia and counterintuitive advertising, Touchland says it will rough up its previous squeaky clean image with an edgy, sexy video ad and campaign imagery.
Touchland's touchless, smart technology-enabled hand sanitizer dispenser for the I&I market, known as KUB, can be found in all locations of Joe & The Juice, Equinox, Blade, sweetgreen, The Standard Hotels, Vornado Realty Trust, WeWork, Purple and more.
