Bona has rolled out USDA Certified Biobased Bona All-Purpose Cleaner (APC). In addition to 99% USDA certified biobased content,  the APC is also US EPA Safer Choice certified.

Safe for all non-floor surfaces in the home (countertops, cooktops, cabinets and more), the hydrogen peroxide formula is infused with essential oils and is available in two scents: Lavender White Tea and Lime Basil.

The packaging is made from 30% post-consumer recycled materials.

“This new all-purpose cleaner offers an effective streak-free clean while also being sustainably crafted,” said Leah Bradley, senior brand manager, Bona. “As consumers become increasingly focused on lessening their environmental impact, we have also taken our cleaning products to the next level to be one of few companies offering high biobased formulations.”

To accompany the all-purpose cleaner, Bona is introducing a new microfiber cloth pack, with a sustainable design made from 80% post-consumer recycled material that can be washed and reused up to 300 times.

Update on Floor Products' Biobased Status

In addition, Bona says its flagship floor formulations are also now USDA Certified Biobased, with the Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner containing 95% biobased content and Bona Hard Surface Floor Cleaner containing 92% biobased content.
