Murad has added Rapid Relief Acne Sulfur Mask  to its acne control collection. It is a liquid clay mask with a trio of acne-clearing ingredients—sulfur, exfoliating salicylic acid Austrian peat to instantly reduce oil and banish blemishes.

It contains 5% sulfur to treat and prevent breakouts. The sulfur odor is neutralized with eucalyptus, according to Murad.

After just 1 use, subjects agree that their skin felt balanced, soothed, calmed and comfortable, according to Murad.
In addition, while most clay masks crack and constrict, this oil-absorbing kaolin clay blends with hydration-replenishing Austrian peat extract to moisturize and prevent over-drying, according to the skincare brand, which is part of Unilever.

The mask is clinically proven to instantly reduce oil by 92%, fast-track pimple (blemish) reduction after only three uses and to reduce redness after 6 uses. After just 1 use, subjects agree that their skin felt balanced (not too oily or too dry), soothed, calmed and comfortable.

The formulation also contains Austrian peat extract, which is described as a hydration-replenishing extract that is ideal for acne-prone skin. It helps reduce visible signs of redness and enhance removal of impurities without over-drying skin.

The tiered retail rollout began on July 13 at murad.com, followed by Ulta.com on July 16, Sephora on July 18. It will hit brick and mortar on July 23 at Ulta and Sephora on July 28.
