P&G Patents Biodegradable Packaging for Unit Dose Detergent

US Patent No. 11,859,338 B2 (Michael David Sanders, Mark Robert Sivik, Ian Oliver Malott); The Procter & Gamble Company, Cincinnati, OH (US) has patented a package for a single unit dose detergent that is biodegradable and designed to protect the dose. It comprises an outer shell and an inner structure comprised of a biodegradable material. The inner structure comprises one or more divided sections to contain one or more single unit dose detergents articles. At least one of the one or more divided sections comprises a protuberance extending from a surface facing an inner surface of the outer shell.
