Stellar Beauty Co. has a curated collection of products designed for healthy skincare habits.

Stellar Beauty Co. is a beauty brand founded by a tween entrepreneur Stella Dorazio. But this 12-year-old is more than just another girl obsessed with makeup. You are more likely to find her on the golf course—that is, when she’s not studying or helping run the brand she’s designed for her fellow Gen Alphas.

Stella Dorazio works her game.

Stellar Beauty’s target audience is active girls—those who sweat, spend time outdoors and have active schedules—just like Dorazio.

Dorazio, who has been playing golf since she was 8, struggled to find products suited for growing skin and an active lifestyle. She and her parents have designed Stellar Beauty to focus on hydration, barrier support and sun protection—the foundation for healthy skin.

Its four products are: cleanser, lightweight moisturizer, after-sun face mist and mineral SPF 50.

Sun protection is an overlooked aspect of tween skincare regimens.

“For us, SPF wasn’t an afterthought—it was one of the most important products in the line because active girls spend so much time outdoors,” Mallory Dorazio, co-founder of Stellar Beauty and Stella’s mom, told Happi. “We knew we wanted a mineral sunscreen with broad-spectrum SPF 50 protection using 17.5% zinc oxide, along with 80-minute water resistance to keep up with sports, swimming and everyday adventures. At the same time, performance alone wasn’t enough.”

The Dorazios knew a lightweight, smooth formula that would blend in easily was the only option.

“If sunscreen doesn’t feel good on your skin, kids are much less likely to wear it consistently. We wanted to make daily sun protection simple, effective and fun—something girls would actually enjoy using,” Mallory Dorazio said.

According to Russell Dorazio, co-founder and president, the goal is to build Stellar into a trusted brand “that grows alongside Stella and the girls we’re creating it for.”

He continued, “We want to redefine what skincare looks like for active, growing skin by helping girls build healthy habits early with products that are safe, age-appropriate and made specifically for their lifestyles.”

This month, Stella Dorazio will compete in the Optimist Junior Golf Championship in Florida.

“I definitely have a busy schedule, but I like having a routine,” she told Happi. “I balance school, golf practice, tournaments and Stellar by staying organized, and being homeschooled gives me the flexibility to fit everything in.”

This San Antonio, TX-based business is a family-affair and a team effort.

“I share ideas based on what I would want to use and what girls my age are looking for, and they help with everything that goes into building and growing the company. It’s really been a family project,” Stella Dorazio said.

This young entrepreneur has big plans that include playing professional golf.

As for her business, she told Happi,  “I hope more girls discover the brand and feel confident knowing there are products made just for them. If Stellar can help girls take care of their skin while they’re out doing what they love, that would make me really happy.”
