ICMAD has introduced free monthly member networking events to generate ideas, contacts and strategies for businesses. Developed by the Membership Development Committee, these small-scale events already have been held in New York and California and will continue to be held monthly in different cities around the U.S.
The next event will be held Thursday, April 23 in New York City, hosted by Pamela Viglielmo, ICMAD Vice President and Education Committee Chair. The session will cover aspects of expanding a business internationally, its advantages and potential pitfalls. These sessions provide an intimate setting in which ICMAD members can share information.
Currently 11 members have offered to host these events in California, New York, Texas and Chicago. Topics may include distribution, sales, manufacturing, exporting, green cosmetics and brand origination. ICMAD members who have expertise in these topics will host the get-together.
