The leading companies in the global cleaning product supply chain will gather Jan. 25-29 for the American Cleaning Institute’s 2011 Annual Meeting & Industry Convention.
The ACI (formerly SDA) Convention takes place at the Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida. Registration is now open at www.cleaninginstitute.org.
“We saw an increase in our 2010 attendance that brought together 600 business and industry leaders from 82 companies and 24 countries,” said Ernie Rosenberg, ACI’s president and chief executive officer. “The opportunity for our convention attendees to meet with so many leaders in one place is a real return on their investment.
“It is the one place for high-level meetings among household and institutional cleaning product producers and formulators, ingredient suppliers, oleochemical producers, chemical distributors and finished packaging suppliers.”
The theme of the 2011 Convention is “Working Together for the Consumers of Tomorrow.” Speaker sessions will explore the topic, including a presentation by “shopping anthropologist” Paco Underhill, founding president of Envirosell, the New York-based behavioral research and consultancy firm.
ACI has scheduled several events during the Convention to support its charity of choice, Cleaning for a Reason (www.cleaningforareason.org), which provides free residential cleaning services to women who are undergoing treatment for cancer.
